Mr. Iman Mirzaii graduated from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (Iran) with a B.Sc. (2008) in Mechanical Engineering. His bachelor's thesis involved "Soot emission prediction of a waste gated turbo-charged DI diesel engine using artificial neural network (ANN)" under the supervision of Dr. Mohsen Ghazikhani. In 2008 he enrolled in the M.Sc. program at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Passandideh Fard. His Master's thesis project was "Numerical simulation of solid-fluid interaction using Volume of Fluid (VOF) method". During his master's degree, he was working as a research assistance in Mashhad Power Plant and Tous Power Plant of Mashhad.
